Replace Your Old Boiler With a Low-Carbon Heating System ÂŁ7,500 Government Grant Available

If you have an old, inefficient, or fossil-fuel boiler, you may qualify for a ÂŁ7,500 government grant through the official Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).
This funding is provided directly by the UK Government to help households upgrade to cleaner, modern heating systems that reduce bills and lower carbon emissions.

The scheme is available to homeowners, private landlords, and landlord-approved tenants across England and Wales.

What is the Boiler Upgrade Scheme?

The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) is a government initiative designed to accelerate the transition to low-carbon heating.
Instead of expensive, outdated systems, BUS helps fund the installation of modern alternatives such as:

  • Air Source Heat Pumps

  • Ground Source Heat Pumps

  • Biomass Boilers (in eligible rural properties)

If your home currently uses oil, LPG, gas, or electric boilers, you could qualify for funding.
